With Unity connected directly to Smarter Drafter Pro, firms can map and pull across the fields they need to automate documents with confidence. Whether it’s standard client details or matter-specific data such as property information, key dates, or case details, the integration ensures documents start with accurate, pre-filled information.
The benefit is simple: fewer manual steps, fewer errors, and faster document turnaround — all while Unity remains the single source of truth.
Unity Enquiry Creation
Perhaps the most powerful new capability is the ability to create Unity Enquiries directly from Smarter Drafter forms.
This can happen in two ways:

Internally – when staff complete a Smarter Drafter form, such as a new client intake.

Externally – when a prospective client fills in an online Smarter Drafter intake form embedded on the firm’s website.
In both cases, the information captured flows automatically into Unity, creating a valid Enquiry with all required fields mapped. There’s no need to retype details into Unity, and no risk of missing key information. Intake → Enquiry → Matter creation becomes a single, continuous process.
Document Filing
Finally, once a document is generated in Smarter Drafter Pro, it can be filed directly into the correct Unity matter. No more saving to desktops, uploading manually, or worrying about version control.
By linking every document back to Unity, firms maintain a centralised, reliable record of client and matter information, keeping compliance and consistency front and centre.
